Dora Holzhandler, Jewish Family in the Snow

Year 3 children created collages which explored 'the family and family events' and were inspired by Dora Holzhandler's, A Jewish Family in the Snow. Pupils first drew out their shapes with pencil and then covered the shapes using paper, fabric, wool, cotton wool and foam (See Art Skills for Teachers - Collage).
