From PE to Visual Art.....

Robert Sandilands Primary School

Key Stage 1 pupils at Robert Sandilands Primary School took photos and made drawings of each other during PE lessons as starting points for their own 'Movement' projects.

The photographs were printed out and were drawn over using oil pastels to emphasise the feeling of Movement.

Pupils then created moving figures using templates and black card. They created large scale collages of the PE equipment and then placed their characters into a variety of poses to represent Movement. These works are about 4ft long.
