Large Scale Sculpture

Year 3 pupils worked with artist Adam Kops, to create their large scale Movement sculptures. They made structures for their sculptures by placing wood and metal rods into bin liner lined buckets.

Once the structure of the figures had been made with wood and wire, the structures were 'padded out' by wrapping newspaper and tape around the form.
The sculpture was then covered with layers of mod roc.

Once the sculptures had dried, they were decorated using paint, wire and fabrics and were varnished using PVA glue.
