Year 5 and year 6 pupils created sketches of the figure in movement. Their quick charcoal sketches were displayed in the classroom to show the project in progress.

Adam Kops 'The Dancer'

Adam Kops 'The Dancer'Argyle Primary School

Pupils then used Adam Kop's The Dancer as their inspiration for sculpture. They created small figures from wire which were set into yoghurt pots filled with plaster of paris. When the plaster of paris had set, the figures were wrapped with small pieces of modroc. When the figures were dry, they were then painted with acrylic paints and varnished with PVA glue.
